Psalm 2

John 3:1-8

As they prayed, the place where they were gathered shook… Acts 4:31

“…unless one is born from above, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Lord, it’s so easy, as we work, play and live our daily lives, to enter into a routine and forget your presence and intense interest in everything about us.  We can be in a state of indifference toward you and a self-reliance as we deal with challenges and trials.  But the truth is we don’t take a breath without you knowing it.  Every beat of our hearts is ordained by you.  Since my Baptism I have been your favored and blessed and precious child.  You beam with pride when I am faithful to you and loving to those around me.  You maybe shed a tear when I sin but immediately open your arms wide for my return.  Lord, Easter is a great time for the renewal of my spirit.  This is a perfect time for you to shake me up like the Apostles in the place where they were.  Lord, may I have a spiritual rebirth and set me on fire for you and your dream for me.    I want to again experience the joy of being your child and I pray for a rebirth in your transforming grace.  Amen.
