2 Thessalonians 3:6-10, 16-18

Psalm 128

Matthew 23:27-32

May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.  2 Thes 3:16

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites…” Mt. 23:29

Lord, I seek your peace in many ways every day.  I look for your hand gently guiding my life to notice and appreciate your presence. Paul prayed that your peace would be given to the Thessalonians. I believe his prayer could be applied to me as well. You had strong words for those spiritual guides in your time who were hypocritical. I’ve noticed that I am not at peace when my heart and inner life don’t match my outside actions or words. Lord, you see the good, the bad and the ugly in me. You know every thought I have and you are closer to me than my own skin. I can keep nothing hidden from your eyes. So all my goodness and badness lies before you. Lord, I praise you for so wonderfully making me. I am precious and glorious to you-with all my faults. Wherever I go you are there to guide and protect me. Thank you Lord for caring and loving me so much. I bare my heart and soul before you to heal whatever you find there. I offer you today all my rights and wrongs-all of me belongs to you.  Amen.
