Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” O Lord, I love you, I believe in you, I adore you, I hope in you – Jesus, I trust in you. In you I live, in you I am alive, in you I have life eternal. Help me dear Lord, to gaze upon you with sacramental eyes, with spiritual eyes, with the eyes of my heart that I may see you in the Breaking of the Bread; so that I may see you in everything, in everyone, in every place. Help me to see you with loving eyes so that I may see you and greet you in all God’s children. Help me to see you in your creation so that I may gaze upon you with awe and wonder. Help me to see you as you are; pure, holy, good, lovely. Help me, dear Risen Lord to experience you with a monastic heart so that I may love you as you love me; unconditionally, unceasing, selflessly. Help me to receive the gift of your love ever more profoundly so that I may love you in everything I experience, everyone I meet, every place I go. Help me to love like you do – the way you love all God’s children; openly, graciously, mercifully, patiently that I may be filled by the love of your creation, your created beauty, the image I was created in. Help me to believe as you do, to trust as you do, to love like you do most gracious Father, loving Brother, gentle Friend. I love you and thank you for the grace to pray, to be, to see, to feel, to think, to minister, to preach, to serve, to believe, to trust. Thank you Lord for the grace to love and to be loved by you. O sweet Mother of our Risen Savior, sweet Mother of Divine Mercy help us to know your Beloved Son more intimately, to love him more deeply, to serve him more faithfully, to believe in him and to trust in him with the innocence of a child. Pray for us Beautiful Lady that we may experience the grace to surrender more fully our anxieties, concerns, fears and simply say from the depths of our hearts and with a new found confidence: Jesus, I trust in you!
