What more was there to do for my vineyard that I had not done? Isaiah 5:4

There was a landowner who planted a vineyard… Mt. 21:33

Lord, how can I ever repay you for what you have done for me?  The truth is I probably can’t.  When I came into existence you gave me a place in your vineyard.  You have generously provided all I need for my life in your vineyard, your kingdom.  As the landowner of the vineyard you expect a harvest of fruit at the proper time.  You expect a return for your investment in me.  You have showered me with the grace I need to bear fruit for you.  I have your holy Word to guide me and the sacraments of your Church to nourish and cleanse me.   I praise you for each opportunity and every gift which flows from you.  I thank you for the time you have given me to work in your vineyard.  Lord, I offer to you today all the fruits of my labors, my sacrifices for my family, and my efforts to bear fruit in my parish and community.   Let your peace flow into my heart to guard me from all anxiety and worry as I labor for you.  Amen.
