John 2:13-22

…you are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you”. 1 Cor 3:16

Lord, in love, you became human and lived among us many years ago.  After you completed your mission to reconcile all of us to our Father you went home.  While you were with us in the body you were limited to be in only one place at one time.  Now since we are each temples of your Spirit because of our Baptism you can be everywhere at the same time.  There is no place on this earth that you cannot dwell.  It can be a little overwhelming to realize that I can bring your very Spirit to every moment of my day.  Wherever I go, you go.  Whatever I do, you are a part of it.  I am in a unique position to touch the lives of those you have placed around me.  Lord, may my relationships be blessed by your presence.  Guide me to an awareness of you living in those I meet.  Bring your healing love to a damaged friendship, your mercy to the one who has hurt me and your patience to the one who is annoying to be with.  Dear Jesus, I am honored to be your body in this world.  Amen
