“Whoever loves me…we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. “  John 14:23

Lord, when you walked with your disciples so long ago you could only be present in one place at a time.  Your humanity limited you so that if you were in Judea, you were not in Galilee.  But since you have ascended to the Father and we have received your Holy Spirit you are everywhere.  You are present in every country, city, home and human heart.  You are right here with me now.  I take you with me wherever I go.  You never leave me alone to fend for myself.  I thank you for the Spirit that guides, strengthens and teaches me.  I thank you for your word in Holy Scripture.  I thank you for the awesome gift of your body and blood in the Mass.  Wherever I go you go.  My prayer today is to be open to an even more intimate closeness with you and a keen awareness of your companionship with me.  Let not a moment go by that I am not held close by you.  Today, Jesus, be in my thoughts, my words and all my actions.  Keep me close for without you I can do nothing.  Amen.
