Acts of the Apostles 11:1-18

Psalm 42

John 10:1-10

“I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.”  John 10:10

Lord, as our shepherd you lead us to springs of life giving water.  You feed us with bread from heaven.  You protect us from the evil one who wants to lead us to destruction.  But most of all you offer us the greatest gift of all “abundant life.”  The life you offer isn’t always easy, or fun or rich.  The things of this world that week seek are not part of the life you offer.  A good life is one where we live for you and humbly follow you wherever you lead us.  You know what is best for us.   You gave us the privilege of Mary your mother to be our mother.  She too leads us to you and the life you want for us.  Lord, I pray to Mary for our world.  I pray for the peace which you gave us after your resurrection.  I pray that we can be faithful children of the Lady of Fatima.    May I continue my conversion of heart, repent for my sins and be dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mary, be queen of my heart and listen to my prayers.  I come to you for protection from evil and I implore your help as I experience the abundant life of union with Jesus.  Amen.
