2 Corinthians 12:1-10

Psalm 34

Matthew 6:24-34

“Therefore I tell you. Do not worry about your life…”  Mt. 6:25

Lord, my faith tells me you are bigger than any of my problems.  You look into my heart and see my anxiety and worry about a lot of things.   Sometimes I can be concerned over something that challenges me to use my gifts and talents to overcome.  Other times I can feel paralyzed and fearful when worries overtake me.  Knowing that chronic worry can cause health problems and damage relationships, you tell me to not let it conquer me.  Lord, I thank you for the gift of faith in you and your love for me.  I thank you for being so near and for helping me to walk the path to your kingdom.  Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!   It’s so easy to say: “let go and let God” but sometimes hard to do.  Increase and mature my faith in your divine plan for me.  Show me that you will not let me be overwhelmed by anything.  I need the power of your grace to endure all that I have no control over.  Today, Lord, I will get out of my own way and rest in your mighty and loving hands.  Amen.
