Hebrews 11:1-7
Psalm 145
Mark 9:2-13
Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Heb. 11:1
Lord, we have a saying “seeing is believing.” Yet we believe in the existence of atoms and molecules yet we can’t see them. Astronomers tell us that 75% of the matter in the universe is invisible. We take medicine even though we can’t see how it heals us. We can’t see the wind but we can feel it on our skin. Lord, I can’t see you but I know you from how you have blessed me in life. I know you because I have experienced your love. I want to thank you today for the gift of faith. My faith can be weak at times. But I know that when sickness or disaster comes, it is my faith in you that will sustain me and keep me going forward. It is my faith in your promises that gives me hope in a very hopeless, unstable and uncertain world. May I today live like I’ve been saved. I know that my prayer for greater faith will be answered. I’m excited about my future because I know you are with me now and always will be. Lord, I believe, help my unbelief. Amen.
