Isaiah 29:17-24

Psalm 27

Matthew 9: 27-31

Out of the gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.  Is. 29:18

“Let it be done for you according to your faith.”  Mt. 9:29

Lord, what would happen if you asked me “do you believe I can do this?”  Could I, from my heart in full confidence, say “Yes, Lord?”  These two blind men came to you with faith in your power and will.  Faith always gets God’s attention.  I confess to you, dear Jesus, the times I have doubted your will and power to answer my prayer.  I can be so overwhelmed with the magnitude of a personal problem that I don’t expect you to do anything.  So when you connect the strength of my faith with the answers to my prayers I can begin to hesitate.  Lord, help me to see your power in the world around me.  Show me how you change hearts and pick people up when they fall.  The two formerly blind men “went out and spread word of (you) through all the land.”  Build up my confidence and trust that whatever way you wish to heal or bless me will come.  So I thank you in advance for every favor and gift you send my way today.  I can’t wait to see it all with the eyes of faith.  Amen.
