Exodus 34:29-35

Psalm 99

Matthew 13:44-46

…the skin of his face had become radiant while he conversed with the Lord.  Exodus 34:29

Father, your commandments are real signs of the love you have for all your children.  After forty days and nights on the mountain with you Moses’ face revealed your presence and glory.  You gave him the means for how we are to live in your kingdom.  By observing and living your commandments we too become radiant with your presence.  Your powerful word transforms us into right living and holy sons and daughters.  Our priorities are changed.  Our behavior in our homes and workplaces is changed.  We respond to suffering and obstacles in life with confidence and grace.  We become citizens of the kingdom your Son established on earth.  Dear Father, make my love of you radiate your presence in my thoughts, words and deeds.  I love your law, O Lord, which you’ve given out of love.  Thank you for encouraging me to live your good news in the world and to radiate your presence to all.  Amen
