The community of believers was of one heart and mind… Acts 4:32

“How can this happen”?  John 3:9

Lord, the Pharisee Nicodemus came to you at night with many questions on his heart.  He came seeking the truth because he was in darkness about who you were and what you came to do.  Gently you led him to better understand that you came to lead all people back to the Father.  You also encouraged him to believe in you as the savior of the world.  He wondered how all this could be possible.   Your angel told your Mother Mary that all things are possible with God.  Lord, I believe that you truly are my risen savior.  There are many questions in my mind too.  There are things of God that I don’t really understand.  So I bring them to you in prayer today.  Help me to discover the meaning in the symbols of our faith.  Give me the humility to be open to learning new ways to grow in my faith.  Lord, like your first disciples, show me best how to be united in mind and heart with my fellow believers and to share your precious gifts with those in need.   Thank you, Jesus, for hearing my prayer.  Amen.
