Acts of the Apostles 4:1-12

Psalm 118

John 21:1-14

“There is no salvation through anyone else…” Acts 4:12

“I am going fishing.” John 21:3

Lord, I’m not sure but it seems Peter and the others were kinda lost at that moment.  So much had happened since your arrest that they probably couldn’t grasp the meaning of it all.  So they returned to what they knew best and that was fishing.  But they were unsuccessful fishing that night.  When you came to them and directed them where to place their net they made an astounding catch.   Knowing where their hearts were you then comforted them by having a meal with them.  Lord, at times I too can be lost.  I can be confused as to what is going on in my life.  I can have doubts about what I am to do going forward.  Sickness, financial trouble, relationship problems all can take their toll on my confidence.   But if I keep my heart open to your guidance, where you want me to cast my net, then I can be blessed with abundance.  Only in your name can I be healed of the anxiety and stress that afflicts me.  Please continue to shower me with your grace so I can be who you have created me to be.  Amen.
