Seek the Lord while he may be found.  Isaiah 55:6

“Do not be afraid.  I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified”.  Matthew 28:5

Lord, I seek for many things.  I’m looking for happiness, security, peace and love.  I search for understanding and the purpose of my life.  I seek for relief from pain and suffering.  I’m on the lookout for what I don’t have.  The women were seeking a dead man but found an empty tomb.  The grave could not hold you.  Help me today, Lord, to not reach for what is dead but for what gives life.  Let me not be afraid to let sin die within my heart.  Lord, fill me with the abundant life you came to give.  May I let die anything that prevents me from union with you.  Roll open wide the stone in my heart that is blocking your grace.  Thank you, Lord, for showing yourself to me in the Bible, in the Mass and in my brothers and sisters.  May I find you in the joys and the sorrows of this day.  Show yourself, dear Jesus, for I long to see your face.  Amen.
