“…as I have done for you, you should also do”.  John 13:15

Lord, you have done so much for me, where can I begin?  I am surrounded by all you have done for me.  When I honestly try to think of all of it I am overwhelmed.  Such a task is too much for me alone but with you working within me I can start in some small way to serve others by washing their feet.  Maybe I can start by washing a toe.  The world is so in need of having its feet washed.  Lord, give me an opportunity today to do what you did for your friends at the Last Supper.  You made it clear that when we care for the least of our brothers and sisters we care for you.  May I see you in those people you will put in my life.  Keep my heart open to the many possibilities of following your lead.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear Jesus, for washing my feet.  Show me how to love as I have been loved.  Amen.
