1 John 5:14-21

Psalm 149

John 3:22-30

We have this confidence in him that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  1 John 5:14

“He must increase; I must decrease.”  John 3:30

Lord, I ask so much of you in prayer. I lay at your feet so many concerns, needs and desires. I am confident that you are aware of all these things without a word from me. I believe you are pleased that I turn to you in faith and entrust every part of my life to you. I also pray that your will be done in my life and in the lives of my loved ones. When I say “thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” I am kind of like writing a blank check for you to fill in what is best for us. Lord, I firmly believe that it is your will for me to open my heart to you and to let go of anything blocking the abundant life you want to give me. I believe you want to increase your grace and your presence within me and for me to empty myself of what is not good for me. I also pray for my family and friends who may be in sin and separated from you.  Dear Jesus, hear this prayer for I know it is your will that they come home to you.  Amen.
