Isaiah 7:10-14
Psalm 24
Luke 1:26-38
The Lord will give you a sign. Is. 7:14
“Behold Elizabeth…has also conceived a son in her old age. Lk 1:36
Lord, I believe in your signs. I believe you desire to speak to your people. So much goes on in our lives that it’s sometimes hard to hear you speaking or see your signs. Then there’s the problem of interpreting correctly your signs. But you stay at it. What patience you have! You know me very well and can heal my blindness and deafness. Lord, forgive me if I miss so much of what you want me to see and hear and experience. When Mary heard of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, she didn’t miss this sign that nothing is impossible for you. You are Emmanuel so why should I ever be without your signs! Today, Lord, increase my faith in you so my very nature becomes more sensitive to you. May I today fundamentally change so I can be more aware of your constant interventions in my life. Keep me faithful to all that you want for me. I do not ask for signs, just that you Guide my heart to be open whatever you want to reveal to me. I love you and know that you want me to know of your love. Amen.
