Wisdom 1:1-7
Psalm 139
Luke 17:1-6
The Spirit of the Lord fills the world, is all embracing, and knows what man says.
Wis. 1:7Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know the whole of it. Ps. 139:4
Lord, your word today assures me that I am never forgotten or ignored by you. You are keenly aware of every thought, word and action I perform 24-7. I can do, think, or say nothing without you knowing it. I think you probably know me better than I know myself because I can sometimes deceive myself, but not you. You are familiar with the good, the bad and the ugly of my life. I thank you for not holding my sins against me because forgiveness and mercy are always available to me. Lord, I pray today for you to lead me to the abundant life you died to offer me. I pray also for the Holy Spirit to provide me with the wisdom to make good choices, and to arrange my priorities according to your will. Rest your hand upon me and my family so we can live the graced life you want for us. Help me to be aware of your presence in every moment of this day. Guide me into a spirit of forgiveness to anyone who has hurt me. I pray for a heart that sees those around me as your precious children and my brothers and sisters. Amen.
