Exodus 23:20-23

Matthew 18:1-5, 10

Thus says the Lord: “See I am sending an angel before you, to guard you on the way…” Ex. 23:20

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones…” Mt. 18:10

Lord, you loved little children for their innocence, humility and purity. You raised up the status of all children which in your time was very low. It is natural for parents today to love, protect and nurture their children. I thank you for the children in my life. May they always be safe from harm and grow in character and faith. I also think of children who are in difficult and dangerous situations. Please preserve them from abuse of any kind. From the moment of conception in the wombs of their mothers, save them from any danger. I know that abortion is often the choice of some families in difficult conditions. Lead them to alternatives like adoption or an acceptance of the child you have given them. Make all our political leaders aware of the dignity of human life so that the right to life can be protected by law. I also raise up children caught in human trafficking. Somehow come to their rescue. I thank you for my Guardian Angel and all the ways my angel has carried out your will.  May the angels of all children keep them safe. My Guardian Angel, pray for me and stay with me.  Amen.
