1 Timothy 2:1-8

Psalm 28

Luke 7:1-10

For there is one God… 1 Tim 2:5

The Lord is my strength and my shield.  In him my heart trusts, and I find help.  Ps. 28:7

Lord Jesus, you are so one with our Father. I need to turn to no one or no thing other than you. You are my link to our Father. I trust you hear all my prayers and are completely aware of all my thoughts and feelings in my heart. Forgive me when I turn to ways that don’t include you. I place all my needs and sins at your feet Lord. I only ask to remain close to you at all times. You know that I’m far from perfect but I am on the road. I don’t deserve your mercy but you shower me with it anyway. I wish to use your graces and opportunities to grow in holiness and faithfulness to you. Show me where I can improve today. What small steps toward you can I take today? Help me to retire tonight better than I got up.  Amen.
