Matthew 13:36-43

Not according to our sins does he deal with us… Ps. 103:10

“If I find favor with you, O Lord, do come along in our company.”  Ex. 33:9

Lord, it is so good to eavesdrop on your dialog with Moses. He is beginning to understand who you are and how you deal with the stubborn people he leads in the desert. His faithfulness is challenged daily as he mediates between you and them. Time after time they sin and embrace the evils of other gods only to repent and return to you as their protector and savior. Moses knew they would never make it to the Promised Land if you did not walk with them. Same with me, Lord. You have led me out on the road to eternal life and promised to be with me to the end. Yet I too have sinned and continue to be subject to temptation. Thanks be to God you don’t treat me as my sins deserve. You forgive and forget and always offer another chance for me to walk in the light. Your grace is more powerful than the weeds of evil I encounter so help me to stay close to you. Guard me and my family from the evil one.  Thank you for your kindness and mercy.  Amen.
