See, I am coming to dwell among you, says the Lord. Zec. 2:14
Lord, you have fulfilled the promise you made to your people through your prophet Zechariah. You came among us as one of us. You were born of Mary and experienced all that we experience except sin. You were a Messiah who was no stranger to suffering. When the time came for you to accomplish your mission you were nailed to a cross for our sins. Your throne was a cross on a hill. After your resurrection you were no longer limited by time and space. You could be everywhere at all time. So, you live within us as we are your body on earth. You come to us in your great sacrament of the Eucharist. You are present whenever we gather to pray or ponder your word. I see you in the glorious sunrise and fragrant flower. You truly are present in your Church. I know there is someone who needs to see you here among us. Thank you, Lord, for not giving up on us and for your love and your grace. Help me to be your hands, your mouth, and your feet today. Amen
