Genesis 15:1-12, 17-18

Psalm 105

Matthew 7:15-20

“Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you can…” Gen:15:5

“By their fruits you will know them.”  Mt. 7:16

Lord, you told Abram to count the stars, “just so will your descendants be.” There are too many to count. I guess the point is that you were going to bless Abram with sons and daughters too numerous to count. I believe you have blessed me in the same way. Your gifts and blessings to me are too numerous to count. I have been abundantly blessed by your kindness, generosity and protection. There is no way I could adequately list how many ways you have taken care of me. I am so grateful for everything that comes from you. I’m sure I have overlooked or missed so many times you have protected me from danger, showed me the way to walk, provided for my needs even before I ask and forgiven my sins. Lord, please accept my praise and love as gratitude for your many gifts. I believe you keep all your promises to me as you kept them for Abram. I only ask today that you keep me and my family safe from false prophets and show us how to bear good fruit for your kingdom. Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen.
