…God is able to make every grace abundant for you… 2 Corinthians 9:8

Lord, it seems we are always asking for more of this, more of that. We want more time, resources, material things, money, even love and faith. Why do we think we lack any of these? Your word today reminds us that you supply in abundance all we need. You are a generous and giving God, never to be outdone. If we ever come up short or have to do without, you are teaching us and training us for our benefit. We may not have all we want but you will provide all we need to do the good in this world that you call us to. You remind us today of a truth we all know deep inside, that generosity is its own reward. Lord, in all honesty, I do live in abundance—especially an abundance of grace and love.  Help me today to see all that you have graced me with and let me thank you abundantly for all of it. I thank you greatly right now for the unexpected, unseen and surprising blessings you will shower me with today. I may not know what they are but I’m confident they will be there for me.  Amen.
