Psalm 33

Romans 8:14-17

Matthew 28:16-20

“…I am with you always…”  Mt 28:20

Lord, I believe you keep your promises. Even when I can’t see or feel your presence, I believe you are with me. That’s not always an easy thing to do especially when trouble hits. When families are stricken with tragedy they often ask” where is God in all of this?” Your presence and companionship do not guarantee a pain-free life.  Your human life wasn’t pain-free either. Your presence gets us through the pain, fears and troubles. You told your followers to Baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These are more than just words; they are an invitation into the very heart of the Holy Trinity. You hold my hand when I’m afraid, you pick me up when I fall and you carry me when I can’t walk on my own. Lord, forgive my doubts. Please be patient with my sometimes weak faith. Just walk with me in this life and I’ll be OK. For your grace and your presence in the Holy Spirit are enough–more than enough for whatever I will encounter on the road to eternity today. Together, we can do all you’ve called me to be and do.   Amen
