January 26, 2021 Tuesday of the 3rd Week in Ordinary Time-B STS. TIMOTHY AND TITUS, BISHOPS

2 Timothy 1:1-8 or Titus 1:1-5

Psalm 96

Mark 3: 31-35 or Luke 10:1-9

For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control.  2 Tim. 1:7

“Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”  Mk. 3:35

Lord, family means so much to us. We celebrate life events together. We stand with each other in good times and bad. Parents sacrifice so much for their children. Children grow up to be much like their parents. Behind all this family love and commitment is you. The family was the first social unit created. The family is the domestic church. You have a very big family. What a blessing to be your brother or sister. What an honor to be your child. No greater way of living in your family is doing your will. Lord, even families can become broken, relationships strained. May your grace bless all in my natural family and the family of faithful believers. May we all strive to be one with your will forever. I turn to you, Lord, and beg your protection on my family always. Keep us one with each other and one with you. Bring us all to the eternal life of your family. St. Timothy and St. Titus pray for us. Mother Mary pray for your children now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.
