…a dwelling-place of God… Eph. 2:22
Lord, you call us to come to you. So where are you? Turns out we are your dwelling-place. We are where you live. You find a home in us because you desire to be close to your children. You gave us your Spirit to live in each and everyone to be your presence 24-7. Lord, thank you for being so near to me. You know well my anxiety and concerns. I give you my burdens and worries. So why do I hang on to them? Where is my confidence and trust that you’ve got all covered? Thank you for adopting me into your household. St. Paul wrote that we are fellow citizens with the apostles, in a new community of faith. I think it comes from my lack of faith that you are so near and are working and revealing to me all that is needed. Lord, please help me today to juggle all the balls I have in the air. Lord, what faith I have I entrust to you. Guide my heart to find you in myself this day. Lord, stay with me always. St. Simon and St. Jude pray for us. Amen.
