Ephesians 3:2-12

Psalm Isaiah 12:2-6

Luke 12:39-48

…we have boldness of speech and confidence of access through faith in him.  Eph. 3:12

Lord, your apostle St. Paul encourages us to be bold in coming to you.  I know we are your beloved children and you delight in our prayers and trust in your goodness. Lord, it takes boldness to come to you when we have rejected you or ignored you or tried to live apart from your grace. But you are our loving Father who wants so much for us to be prepared to come home to you, seek your forgiveness and accept any penance we deserve.  Lord, I have confidence in your goodness even when I don’t understand how you respond to my prayers. Lord, your ways can be misunderstood, your answers missed or disguised. But if I trust in you always putting my welfare first then all will be okay. Lord, I love your goodness to me. In your generosity you have entrusted me with all the graces and blessings I need to be ready for you. You have denied nothing that I must have to prepare for your coming.  May I today, dear Jesus, continue my conversion of heart, look for opportunities to grow in holiness and to live as if I have been saved Amen.
