Psalm Daniel 3:52-56

2 Corinthians: 13:11-13

John 3:16-18

“The Lord, the Lord, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity.” Ex. 34:6

…live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.  2 Cor. 13:11

Lord God, I’ve heard the Bible called the “Greatest Love story of all time.” Today on the feast of the Holy Trinity our readings certainly confirm that title. I’ll leave it to the theologians to attempt to describe three persons in one God. I believe the Trinity is all about relationships, the relationship of love.  Moses was told that God was all about mercy, graciousness, slow to anger, kindness and faithfulness. Those are the qualities of a God who loves His people. Paul encourages his readers and us to live in peace and the God of love will be with us. Finally, St. John tells us about a God who sacrificed his only Son so that we could be restored in relationship with him. Father, Son and Spirit I’m so blessed to share the love which unites you. I don’t need to understand how that is just believe that is the way it is. My heart aches to experience the unity, peace and love of the Trinity.  In this difficult time of Pandemic it is more important than ever to live in community and to focus on relationships built on love and peace.  Moses spoke my prayer:  “if I find favor with you, O Lord, do come along in our company.”  Amen Alleluia
