Jeremiah 20:10-13

Psalm 18

John 10:31-42

The Lord is with me like a mighty champion… Jeremiah 20:11

I love you, Lord, my strength…  Psalm 18:2

Lord, life can deal out some very tough trials.  Often, we try to cope with them ourselves by using our own skills and resources.  But when in great need we turn to someone stronger, more capable to assist or rescue us.  We may call 911, go to the doctor, employment service or get a lawyer.  They may or may not save us from our problem.  Lord, you are the ultimate savior.  I cannot recall or count all the dangers from which you have saved me.  You have been my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.  You are always nearby, waiting to provide shelter for me and my family from the storms of life.  Lord, today I surrender to you completely.  I am so weak and in need of your strength.  I give you full permission to work in my life.  I pray for the grace to cooperate today with your power to accomplish your will.  I trust in you, and I rely upon you to be my champion.  Thank you for being the Superhero for all that troubles me.  Amen
