Exodus 34:29-35

Psalm 99

Matthew 13:44-46

…the skin of his face had become radiant while he conversed with the Lord.

Exodus 34:29

“The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field…” Mt. 13:44

Lord, everyday I speak to you, and I listen for your words. I don’t ever recall this time with you ever made my face shine. But that doesn’t mean that conversing with you is no less of an experience than Moses’ had. You had very clear and life-saving commandments for him to relay to the people. It is vital that I cherish and commit myself to listen for your guidance, look for your help and allow myself to be healed. Continue to share your mind with me so I can go through my day with your life within me.  It is so good that you want me to listen to your word and to be led by your instructions. It is so good that I hear you speak of compassion, hope and joy. Thank you, dear Jesus, for caring enough about little ole me to touch my heart with your truth. You likened your Kingdom to a treasure buried in a field and a pearl of great price that required sacrifice to possess.  I give my time, attention and focus to understand and to be fed by your word.  Amen
