When Jesus saw their faith… Mark 2:5
Lord, thank you for the gift of faith. I hate to think of what my life would be like without it. The four men who brought the paralytic to you show me how important faith is. You saw their faith because they didn’t keep it to themselves. Faith to them wasn’t only an internal or personal experience. Their faith was visible-it expressed itself in action. Furthermore, they did not let any obstacle stop them from bringing their friend to you for healing. Each of them got support from the others for alone none of them could have down what the group did. Lord, increase my faith in you today. Open my mind and heart to express my faith in action even doing the creative and unconventional when needed. Help me to join with other people of faith to do what I cannot do alone. Jesus, I ask for forgiveness of my sins and healing of my brokenness and paralysis of spirit. I so depend on your mercy for healing of what really ails me. I trust you will answer this prayer for you always do when I call out in faith. Amen
