Isaiah 54:1-10
Psalm 30
Luke 7:24-30
My love shall never leave you, nor my covenant of peace be shaken… Isaiah 54:10
Lord, how faithful you are! Despite my unfaithfulness you promise love and peace forever. Sometimes I don’t see much in myself that is lovable. I look for peace in the world and can’t find it. So help me today, Lord, to experience the love and peace you want for me. They may come from an unexpected source. I’m confident that they will be there in abundance at the exact time I need them the most. You never provide just some of what I need. Your blessings are more than sufficient. You never withhold what is best for me. Lord, help me to expand my expectations of your love. Broaden my horizons of your peace. Your generosity can’t be outdone. I surrender to you and how you will guide and encourage me today. I don’t know how you wish to use my talents on this day. But they are yours because you gave them to me. So as I go through the gift of this day I anticipate in advance that you have a great purpose and plan for me. I thank you for however you want to bless me this day. Amen.
