“Where are the other nine?”  Luke 17:17

Lord, all ten lepers had the same disease that made them outcasts. All ten were under a death sentence.  All ten had no hope until you came along. All ten begged you for healing. All ten had their bodies healed as well. Only one out of ten, a Samaritan, knew the source of power that gave him his life back.  Even Naaman, a foreigner, was moved to thank God for his healing. Lord, I know you want to give me life too and that you shower me with blessings and healing and grace every day. Do I return only 10 percent of the time to give you glory, to thank you? How much of your grace and strength goes unnoticed?  Lord forgive me for being too busy to give you thanks. Forgive me for not seeing your presence in my life.  Please, open my heart to your healing. Restore me to the joy of your love. I pray that I may have the faith of the healed leper. I want to receive all that you have for me. Thank you, Jesus, for everything especially for your mercy and your gift of salvation.  Amen.
