Psalm 126
Luke 13:18-21
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us. Rom. 8:18
“What is the Kingdom of God like?” Lk. 13:18
Lord, you planted the seed of faith within me and I hope it grows daily into a glorious revelation of your Kingdom. We all want to get to heaven when our earthly journey is ended. That will be a time of no more suffering, division, sin or separation from loved ones or from you. While I journey toward that day, your Kingdom continues to grow and develop within me. I have the confidence that you are fulfilling your promises within me every day. As I pray, celebrate the Sacraments and work to make this a more just world your Kingdom grows within me. Lord, reign in my heart in such a way that I have an eternal perspective in my sufferings. It is truly a daily struggle to resist evil and to maintain my trust in you in this world. With your grace, I can persevere by working tirelessly to end the wrongs of poverty, injustice and oppression. With your grace I can live in harmony with my family and neighbors. Help me today, to be a person of hope to everyone I meet. Dear Jesus, may your Kingdom come and your will be done always. Amen.
