National Vocation Awareness Week is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.
Prayer for Vocations
Loving God, author of grace and mercy, You call us through our baptism in the Spirit to continue the mission of your beloved Son, Jesus. Open us to listen attentively for your invitation. Empower us to respond to your call. Inspire women and men to follow the path of service. Together may we build up the Church to be a vibrant sign of your presence in our world. We offer this prayer in the name of your Son, Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Oración por las Vocaciones
Dios amoroso, autor de toda gracia y misericordia. Nos llamaste por medio del bautismo en el Espíritu, a continuar la misión de Jesús, tu Hijo amado. Concédenos la gracia de escuchar atentamente tu invitación. Fortalécenos para responder a tu llamado. Inspíranos, mujeres y hombres a seguir el camino del servicio. Y juntos poder construir una iglesia que sea signo vibrante del poder de tu presencia en este mundo. Te ofrecemos esta plegaria en nombre de tu hijo, Jesucristo, y por el poder del Espíritu Santo. Amén.
