James 5:13-20
Psalm 141
Mark 10:13-16
O Lord, to you I call; hasten to help me… Psalm 141:1
The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. James 5:16
Lord, it is really quite amazing that I can have such a powerful way to be in close touch with Almighty God, the creator of the universe and all there is. I am encouraged to pray in all circumstances: in good times and in bad. I give thanks for all you have done for me, especially for all you’ve provided for me in secret that I am not at all aware of. I can ask for anything: healing, forgiveness, courage, strength, help, and protection and I will receive it. Whatever is for my good is mine in prayer. With all the billions of prayers that are sent your way today, how on earth can you hear mine? You care about all the events of my life, the critical, big things and the small, insignificant ones. And I can lift up my friends and family to you in prayer in confidence that you will provide for them as well. Lord, you know best what is good for all of us. Help my faith grow in your perfect and unconditional love for us. Continue to listen to our powerful prayers of joy and hope. Amen.
