Lord, you remind us today about your faithful commitment to us since the days of creation. Throughout history, step-by-step you have blessed, led, protected, and delivered us according to your supreme plan. Your love and commitment to the human race, your children, is reflected in the love and commitment the Father intended between husbands and wives. God has sustained both with a continuous flow of grace from heaven to all mankind. Our response is to live out our commitments as his people and as his family. Lord, you know how I have sometimes not lived up to my side of the covenant. I repent of how I have, at times, forgotten how you have led me toward the Promised Land. I have a vocation from the Father which is an important part of His plan for me and my family. You were with the Israelites every step of the way to the land you promised them as you are with me as I walk the road to eternity. I am grateful to you for hearing my prayer. Amen
