Lord, truth can be hard to come by in our humanity. Political parties, business, family relationships all can have their own version of the truth. We can “spin” the truth to benefit our self-interests. Thank God you’ve sent us a source of truth that is reliable, constant and trustworthy. We can take the Holy Spirit’s guidance to the bank. Lord, I need advice on my daily decisions. I need help in understanding how to deal with a difficult neighbor. I need to be assured that you are with me in my trials and difficulties. I need to know who to trust. Dear Jesus, I rely on you for every breath I take and every beat of my heart. I believe you will led me to live in a way that glorifies you and keeps me close to you. Open my eyes, ears and heart to the whispers of your Spirit throughout this day. Speak Lord, your servant is listening for the truth. Amen.
