…while we were still sinners Christ died for us.  Rom. 5:8

Lord, we don’t really know someone until we know what is in their heart.  I’m thinking about the desires, values, priorities, loves and hates that live in a person’s heart.  Today we look into your most Sacred Heart and you reveal to us what is there.  There may be no more powerful image of who you are than that of the Good Shepherd.   Your urgent desire is to bring home your lost and strayed sheep and when home you are filled with joy.  Lord, I am a sinner.  I have chosen many times to separate from you and do the evil that was in my heart.  I cannot thank you enough for seeking me and bringing me back to you.  Even when I got lost again, you didn’t give up.  You kept coming back again and again to save me from darkness and danger.   I have the gratitude of someone who has been rescued and returned home.  I pray for all your lost sheep especially those who are in my family or circle of friends.  I know your heart holds enough love to fill the heart of every one God has created.  Amen.
