“Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.” Mk. 16:15
Lord, blind and stunned, Paul asked the question we all ask at one time or another: “what shall I do?” For what purpose have you created me, formed me, blessed me and brought me to this point in my life? Dear Jesus, what is your will for me? For Paul the answer was to get up from the ground and continue on to Damascus. Nothing more than to take the first steps on his new mission. Lord, I believe you have given me the mission to be a student, spouse, parent, grandparent, clergy, or single person. You have blessed me with strengths and gifts given to no one else. You have allowed joys and sorrows, conflict and peace, and given me personal experiences that have brought me to this day. I can be confused by what my next step is to be and to what fruit you have made me to bear. I pray that I can proclaim your good news by word and action in my world today. I trust you will be with me as you were with Paul and your disciples. Amen
