Wisdom breathes life into her children… Sir. 4:11
“For whoever is not against us is for us.” Mk. 9:40
Lord, today we have a beautiful litany of the wonders and blessings of the Wisdom of God. We hear how she gives life, strength, courage and right judgment. O how I desire to have this gift of Wisdom in my life always. With her I can achieve greatness in your eyes. I can become the person you created me to be. I can embrace the difficulties of life with confidence knowing that I have the blessings of your Spirit within me. I can make good choices for myself and my family. With Wisdom guiding me I can serve you by serving the poor, the hungry and the homeless. Having divine Wisdom I can obey your laws and witness to your love in any situation that I encounter. It doesn’t’ men life will always be easy. Despite having the fullness of divine Wisdom, your life was one of suffering and hardship. You taught your followers that anyone who uses your name to do good is a person of Wisdom. Teach me to always walk in Wisdom. May every relationship I have with people be fruitful and blest by the grace that comes with God’s Wisdom. Amen.
