Mark 16:15-20
…the Lord worked with them… Mark 16:20
Lord, I sometimes ask what my place is in your plan to spread the good news to all people and places. What is my role and what do you wish me to do? In my heart I know that I do not only live for myself. You have put me here in this time and place with a good purpose in mind. I have many gifts from you and opportunities to be your instrument in my family, neighborhood, workplace and parish. I am also weak and I, at times, have not lived up to your expectations. Forgive me, please. It is very humbling that the creator and savior of the world is working alongside me. Every day, despite my flaws, you guide and lead me to live out my purpose to share your good news in a world filled with bad news. O my Jesus, I realize it’s not me, it’s you who accomplish all good things in my walk of faith. Thank you for every bit of the grace you send me. Continue to form me, and use me in whatever way you desire. With you working with me, I can truly live like I’ve been saved. Amen.
