November 13, 2021 Saturday of the 32nd Week in Ordinary Time-B ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CABRINI, VIRGIN

Wisdom 18:14-16; 19:6-9

Psalm 105

Luke 18:1-8

Sing to him, sing his praise, proclaim all his wondrous deeds.  Ps. 105:2

“But when the Son of Man comes will he find faith on earth?” Lk.18:8

Lord, how will you answer my prayers today? In your constant love for me, how will you bless me? Will your answer be quick or will you, in your wisdom, test and train me by letting some time pass until you reply. Will you provide only what I ask for like good health or healing of my body or do you have much greater gifts in mind? In my foolishness or greed I may ask for something that is not good for me or something that doesn’t give you praise. Don’t give it to me. Replace it with what brings me closer to you. At any rate, Lord, it comes down to faith and trust that you will always do what’s best for me whether I understand or not. Let me see, Lord, your gracious blessings as I look to you for everything. I can’t wait to receive your gifts. May I be open to your surprise.  St. Francis Cabrini pray for me.  Amen
