Romans 1:16-25

Psalm 19

Luke 11:37-41

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Ps. 19:2

Lord, when I look up at the stars of the night I see your glory. You created every atom in this vast universe in which I live.  You invented the laws of physics and the properties of the matter of which it is made. The balance and beauty of nature is your handiwork. From colliding galaxies to the chemical reactions of the elements in my body you  are the master and the creator. You are the conductor of the symphony of the cosmos with each part performing its function. I can feel so very small when I think of the immensity of all you have created.  Yet, you love me as if I am an only child.  You came among us and became one of us to lead us back to our Father Creator. With each advancement in science your children see more clearly your fingerprints in all you have made. Lord, help me to continue to see your presence in all that is around me. Whether it be a galaxy cluster in the far reaches of space or a flower in my backyard, I honor and praise you.  Amen.
