1 Thessalonians 3:7-13

Psalm 90

Matthew 24:42-51

Prosper the work of our hands!  Ps. 90:17

Lord, we come to you in faith each day in prayer. We praise you and give you thanks for all your gifts and blessings. We ask you to forgive our sins and we beg you for our daily bread. We do this because we believe you are the source of all good in our lives. There is nothing that is impossible for you to accomplish in us. Doing your will is our highest priority. Throughout the scriptures you responded to people who had faith in you as their Savior and Redeemer. Today, dear Lord, I lay all my needs at your feet. I accept that your ways are not my ways. Your timing is always perfect so I am ready to wait for whatever you wish to do in my life. Having faith in you is essential but it is not enough. I must be willing to work for what I pray for. You’ve given me hands, feet, a brain and a mouth so I can be an instrument in this world. Bless my work for you.  Make everything I do with my hands fruitful.  Help me to build up your kingdom in my life and in the world.   Amen.
