Genesis 49:29-32; 50:15-26

Psalm 105

Matthew 10:24-33

“Even though you meant harm to me, God meant it for good to achieve His present end…Gen. 49:20

“Even the hairs of your head are counted.”  Mt. 10:30

Lord, if you know how many hairs are on my head there must be nothing about me that escapes your attention. I have no problems too small for you to care about. If you note the death of a single bird how much more do you know what keeps me awake at night. I think that your love and deep concern for everything that goes on in my life is a truth so much of the world fails to grasp. If people believed how much you loved them the world would be a much different and better place for everyone. You are so much bigger than every challenge we face. In another place in scripture you tell us “you are precious and glorious in my sight and I love you.” We don’t often look at ourselves as precious and glorious but we should. Lord, send me to someone today to help them realize how much you value them from head to toe. Give me a message that helps fill the emptiness in someone’s heart. Help me to encourage those who fear, distrust or are wounded. Thank you for hearing my prayer.  Amen.
