Acts of the Apostles 13:26-33

Psalm 2

John 14:1-6

Jesus said to Thomas, “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14:6

Lord, one of the many conveniences we have today are the maps and turn by turn directions our phones give us, so we can find our way to a destination. We rely on these devices so much that we can easily get lost if we lose the signal or our phone runs out of power. The most important destination in our life is our heavenly Father’s home. You tell Thomas not to let his heart be troubled that the way to the Father is through you. It’s the only way, the surest way and the best way to go. With you as our guide we have the direction and the grace to travel the road to our home. There have been times when I thought I knew a better way and I got lost. If we let you lead us we will not get lost. You will find us and get us back on the right path if we make a wrong turn. Thank you for getting me back on course. Lord, with your grace and holy word as my GPS the way to my heavenly home is safe and secure.  Amen alleluia
