“Do not let your hearts be troubled. John 14:1
Lord, troubled hearts have little room for you. Faith in your complete commitment to us in good times and bad can ease our troubled hearts. When we allow doubt, fear, anger or resentment to live in our hearts we aren’t open to your grace and peace. It’s so easy to let our emotions get the best of us, Lord. You tried to ease the distress of your followers on the eve of your death on the cross. You knew how they would struggle when it all seemed over. Whenever I’m tempted to waver in my faith when difficult times come, Lord please fill me with your Spirit. May the truth of your resurrection give me the confidence to face any trouble in peace. May your strength be my strength. You are the way, the truth and the life. My path to eternity is through you. Increase my faith in your every promise. I beg for the strength, obedience, humility and faithfulness of St. Joseph. St. Joseph pray for us. Amen
