Lord, the Magi came seeking a newborn King of the Jews.  As scientists they knew the stars intimately.  Their mythology guided them also because they interpreted the signs in the sky.  They brought kingly gifts to honor you.  What an extraordinary journey they were on.  People still seek you.  Many look for security and safety in the wrong places.  Complete and true security can be found only by faith in you.  I don’t know how much faith the Magi left Bethlehem with, but it was enough to change them.  They took another way home.  When we encounter you, we are changed and walk by another way.  A way of trust and confident faith in your power and love.  Let your love shine in me and like the star of Bethlehem lead others to you.  Please accept my homage and my gifts.  Be the King of my life.  Amen.
